- Philip and Kate are both professional performers and are accomplished singers, actors and dancers and have graced the stage around the globe including the West-End in London where Philip & Kate met during a production of 'SHOWBOAT' with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Opera North. Philip and Kate now dedicate a lot of their time helping young performers through MTW by running specialised workshops, where these young hopefuls can get a taste of how a music theatre company works and try new skills to stretch their comfort zones. "Children gain so much from these workshops in skills, knowledge and confidence" says Philip, "also many new friendships are formed" Kate & Philip are here on this blog to keep in touch with young performers and help answer any questions or concerns they may have regarding the entertainment industry - specific interviews with agents, producers, directors etc to give YOU the performer a bit more insight into the minds of these people you audition for.
